Dumb Italian

Got my hair slicked back all full of grease
The world by the balls if you know what I mean
My new Z car is gonna shine tonight
I passed 12th Grade that means I'm bright

cuz I'm a dumb Italian
Dumb Italian
Dumb Italian

Me and my girl are going out tonight
If there's a moolie there there's gonna be a fight
Don't you make fun of my shirt or the way I wear my cloths
I bought two more chains made of gold

cuz I'm a dumb Italian
Dumb Italian
Dumb Italian

(bridge)I was born on the south side of Revere
Never been past Chinatown
Bought a house in Chelsea
Sometimes I walk through Roxbury

cuz I'm a dumb Italian
Dumb Italian
Dumb Italian

This song was written back in the early 90's by me and my best friend who has since passed on from the planet. This song was born from our experiences on the North Shore area of Massachusetts, specifically a town by the name of Revere and its waterfront area Revere Beach. We had a blast in those days. Over the years we played this song for many people and the response was nothing short of positive. And yes that included many of our friends who are of Italian decent!

We had plans to record the song and submit it to one of the local radio stations in Boston (WBCN) who at the time was known for giving local artists a shot. Sadly those plans never happened.

There are a couple more verses that have slipped from my memory. When I find them I will make the proper edit to this entry.

THANK YOU for coming by!

I will see what I can do. I have the song forever ingrained on my head as well.
